Free membership
Free membership is open to current Open University students. It lets you vote and take part in our student leadership elections.
You can also put yourself forward for a leadership role if you meet its eligibility and nomination requirements.

Become a member
Join through our membership form on Zeffy. Select Elections Membership, which is free, and complete the form using your OU student email address.
Premium membership coming soon
Premium membership will include the same election rights as free membership, plus access to exclusive learning resources.
Premium membership is not yet available to join. We will publish the price, launch date and access details before it opens.

Access an exclusive collection of books on public speaking and rhetoric, which is the use of language to persuade an audience.
We plan to include titles that are not available through the Open University Library, giving you more resources to support your learning.
